Galaxy Nexus
The Galaxy Nexus is a touchscreen slate Android smartphone developed by a partnership between Samsung and Google. The phone and operating system were developed collaboratively by engineers from both companies. It is the third generation successor to Google’s previous flagship phones, the Nexus One and Nexus S. It has a curved HD (1280×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display, an improved camera system, and Google’s new version of its Android operating system, version 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich. The name is the result of co-branding between the Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus brands of Android smartphones.
The Galaxy Nexus was unveiled at Google and Samsung's Ice Cream Sandwich event on 19 October, 2011 in Hong Kong. It was released on November 17, 2011.
Hardware:
The Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65-inch 1280×720-pixel HD Super AMOLED PenTile curved glass display a dual-core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor (ARM Cortex-A9) with an accompanying PowerVR SGX540, GB of RAM. The processor can run from 1.2–1.5 GHz, but is
underclocked at 1.2 GHz for smooth performance. However, it can easily
run at 1.5 GHz once rooted (see Texas Instruments OMAP). Additionally, a 1,750 mAh battery, 1.3 MP front camera and 5 MP rear camera (with zero shutter lag) capable of 1080p video, 4G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, barometer, and NFC and it has 16 or 32 GB of internal memory.
The Galaxy Nexus also hosts support for MHL through the use of its Micro USB 2.0 port. This means that the Galaxy Nexus has the ability to output up to 1080p audio-visual content (through HDMI) to any supported external display such as HD Television
The Galaxy Nexus has no physical buttons on the front, but instead features on-screen soft keys embedded into the system software (part of Android 4.0). Beneath the soft keys, a multicolored notification LED is featured, a feature missing from the Nexus S.
The 3.5 mm headphone jack
is located on the bottom of the phone, and the camera is located in the
center of the rear side. The phone will have 16/32 GB internal storage
depending on model.

Samsung Stratosphere
The 4-inch, 800-by-480-pixel Super AMOLED display is gorgeous. It can
get incredibly bright, but darker colors manage to maintain their depth
and richness. Four haptic feedback-enabled functions keys sit beneath
the display, which are suitably responsive. I had some difficulty typing
on the onscreen QWERTY keyboard with accuracy. Thankfully, the
Stratosphere slides open to reveal a large, five-row physical keyboard.
The keys are slightly raised, and while the spacing took some getting
used to, frequent messagers should be pleased.
The Stratosphere is a dual-band EV-DO Rev A (850/1900MHz) and 750MHz
4G LTE device with 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. Verizon says to expect download
speeds around 5 to 12Mbps, and upload speeds between 2 and 5Mbps on its
4G network. The Stratosphere hit those speeds without a hitch, pulling
in numbers equal to the Motorola Droid Bionic ($299.99,
4.5 stars) in a series of head-to-head tests; both phones averaged
around 5Mbps down and 3.5Mbps up. You can also use the Stratosphere as a
mobile hotspot with the appropriate plan to provide a Wi-Fi connection
for up to eight devices.
Voice quality is very good. Reception is average, and incoming calls
sound rich and clear, with volume that can go very loud. On the other
end, calls made with the phone are equally clear and feature excellent
background noise cancellation. The speakerphone sounds good, though it's
a little low for outdoor use. Calls sounded clear and natural through
a Jawbone Era Bluetooth headset ($129, 4.5 stars) and voice dialing worked accurately.
Battery life is still not a strong point for 4G LTE devices.
Streaming content over 4G, the Stratosphere lasted for just 2 hours and
47 minutes. That's not great, but it's about average for now. Talk time
was better, at 6 hours and 14 minutes.

petabytes
Google |
A petabyte (derived from the SI prefix peta- ) is a unit of information equal to one quadrillion (short scale) bytes, or 1000 terabytes. The unit symbol for the petabyte is PB. The prefix peta (P) indicates the fifth power to 1000:
- 1 PB = 1000000000000000B = 10005 B = 1015 B = 1 million gigabytes = 1 thousand terabytes
The pebibyte (PiB), using a binary prefix, is used for the corresponding power of 1024, which is more than 12% greater.
The unit petabyte is sometimes used for the corresponding power of 1024, following traditional designations of computer storage size, a practice superseded by modern conventions.
